The Shikoku no Michi in Kagawa Prefecture is dotted with numerous beautiful lakes, including Manno Lake which is widely known as Japan’s most famous lake, that exist in harmony with low hills resembling inverted bowls to create a peaceful rural landscape. The entire trail comprises 28 different routes with a total length of 270km.

Tea Picking Trail
Takase is one of the leading tea-producing areas in the Prefecture. There are tea plantations and orange groves on this trail. This charming trail will take you through places of lush beauty and history.

14Mori no Michi
This pilgrimage route will take you from the Okuboji Temple to the Okunoin Yodaji Temple from the 88 temples in the Shikoku Pilgrimage. Sanpoji Temple has a rare large Bodaiju tree (Tilia miqueliana) in its premises.

27Waterfront Route

4Trail that Follows the Hashikura Kaido
